Hi, I’m “Petunia Picklecake”, the Mommy blogger of Go Kid Yourself.

I’m a stay-at-home mom and a military wife stationed in Washington, DC.

The Hubsicle and I have a 21yr old daughter… we call her Babygirl even though she’s a adult.

And then there’s our 4yr old son, The Chief. He’s the star of this blog and living proof that little kids have more fun! I’m thinkin’ everybody should be one! I know I kid myself into thinking I’m one everyday!

    Hello there!

Just wanted to drop you a line to say hello! Donna from Irresistible Ideas for Play Based Learning had I should get in touch to let you know I’m organising Marc Armitage’s US East Coast tour. He’s doing a couple of stops in DC and wondered if you’d be interested in promoting or attending it! Please get back to me so we can have a chat about this! :)

We would like to highlight your stories a few times a month, driving traffic directly back to your site. This exchange would include Twitter and Facebook mentions. I enjoyed your post about Swim Lessons. I wanted to suggest you try a couple drops of milk in each eye after a day at the pool. The basic milk helps to counter act the acidic pool water. This should help with the red-eye.
