Colored Ice Boats

| We set sail in the backyard using water, sticks, and kool-aid. |

| I saw the cool ice boats on Reading Confetti and decided to make them with color. Momma’s Fun World showed us that we can use kool-aid instead of food coloring, for most activities, because it’s cheaper. We just put water and kool-aid into a shallow bowl and secured the stick in the middle with a pipe cleaner. We froze it overnight then popped it out of the bowl when it was time to cruise. |

| We used big fat leaves for the sails on our little boats… |

| …and paper for the big battleship. |

| We’ll definitely have to do this again in cooler temps because it was so hot this day that our boats quickly melted. |
