Playroom Makeover of Love for Valentine’s Day
Time to shower the world with love, hearts, hugs, kisses, roses, and chocolate!
Well ok, we’ll start with The Chief’s playroom first… then see how much energy we have left for the world :/
Here’s our Playroom Makeover of Love!
I always have fun finding new and easy (and cheap!) decorating ideas. Instead of streamers I draped these lovely paper chain of hearts on the ceiling and in the stairwell entering the playroom. I got this brilliant idea from Hands On As We Grow.
So easy! I used an air mattress blower to inflate all the balloons. The same one seen in my Slipknot String of Balloons Tutorial.
I hung the balloons in clusters all over the ceiling with clear pushpins. They’re tied with ribbon and hanging low so they’ll swing and sway in the breeze when someone walks underneath them.
LOVE this Heart Garland idea I got from No Time For Flash Cards!
I bought these playing cards at the dollar store (2 boxes for $1) and hung them on the mirror, the shelves, and the handrail for the staircase leading into the playroom.
The ribbon on this pole is leftover from our Christmas Makeover. I kept it there because I knew it’d also be perfect for V-day.
This adorable teddy bear greets everyone as they walk into the playroom
All the cute foil/mylar balloons are from the dollar store…. LOVE that stinkin’ place!!
