The Chief’s Deli is open for lunch.

I first realized I needed to stop kicking The Chief out of kitchen when I took him to The Playseum and saw him and other toddlers decorate a cupcake and make smoothies in a blender.

Now I very much look forward to having him help me in the kitchen everyday. I really don’t know what I was thinking before. The kitchen is filled with TONS of learning and exploration opportunities for toddlers, as well as patience-building opps for adults :)

On this day we made sandwiches together for lunch.

Life Lesson #542… Know how Mama likes her sandwich!

Cheese tastes better when it’s in the shape of the letter T

Getting frustrated trying to manhandle the twistie-tie on the bread sack until he realized… oh, just twist it.
Every kiddo should have cookie cutter letters of their name.
He was tickled by the sound of his name spelled backwards… YERT!
We then made shapes and letters out of Costco veggie fries.

Veggie fry letter A :)
Veggie fry letter T :)

nom, nom, nom :)
